MEN'S & WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATIONS

These organizations are open to all men and women who are active Full golf members of Windermere Country Club. Nominal annual membership dues for the Men's Golf Association and for the Women's Golf Association are used to fund tournaments and special events that are sponsored by the Associations throughout the year.

The Men's Golf Association sponsors a minimum of nine monthly tournaments each year. Tournaments are held on Saturday morning, typically excluding the summer months of June through August. The Women's Golf Association has both 9-hole and 18-hole organized groups that play on Ladies' Day each Thursday morning. The purpose of the Men's and Women's Golf Associations is to promote fellowship and sportsmanship in an enjoyable but low-pressure, competitive setting.

WEEKLY AND MONTHLY EVENTS

MEN & WOMEN'S OPEN PLAY
The purpose of this weekly event is to provide members -especially new members- an opportunity to play golf and become acquainted with other members. These events are open to all members and their guests and are held every Saturday morning* with prizes and refreshments following.

*Excluding days of special club events.

COUPLES PLAY
Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m., husbands and wives can compete in the 18-hole couples event. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to play in order to meet other couples who belong to the Club.

JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM
To encourage "future golfers," Junior Clinics are conducted at the Club. Lessons on short game, full swing, etiquette and rules are available. We hope to provide a fun environment to develop good sportsmanship, patience and new friends.
